Every day, hour and meal count is yours to change. The default encodes a Thursday-night to Saturday-night fast, a Sunday you eat from morning to evening, and a single evening meal in between.
Repeating 48-72 hour fasts weekly is not well studied. The app states that up front rather than burying it — electrolyte shifts and refeeding risk are real, and anyone on diabetes medication needs a clinician, not an app.
Four curves, and why they're never combined into a score
Each one rests on different evidence with a different strength. Collapsing them into a single number would manufacture a precision none of them has — so the app shows them separately, marks which you want high and which you want low, and names the assumption behind each.
Fat burning
Hours since your last meal give an expected respiratory quotient, which gives the share of energy from fat, applied to a resting rate estimated from your body. Anchored to tracer measurements across 84 hours of fasting.
Insulin sensitivity
Driven by training alone, because that's what the literature measured. One session works within hours and decays over one to three days — which is the actual argument for training several days a week.
Adaptation pressure
The antagonist. Sustained deficit lowers energy expenditure beyond what lost tissue explains; carbohydrate refeeding raises leptin and expenditure again. Drawn as a repeating cycle — an assumption the evidence does not settle.
Adherence load
How much the plan is asking of you right now. Adherence, not metabolism, is what decides whether a fasting protocol works — and dropout is its measured failure mode.
Two signals on completely different timescales
Your own GLP-1 comes in brief pulses tied to meals and is gone within hours. Semaglutide is engineered around a half-life of about a week, producing a continuous elevated signal. The app shows both on their natural timescales rather than forcing a false equivalence onto one axis.
Your health data never leaves your phone
There is no backend. No account, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, no crash reporting to third parties. Weight and workouts read from Apple Health stay on the device, and anything you log is stored locally so the app keeps working whether or not you connect Health at all.
